This book was written by Bates College squash coach John Illig, which explains its presence in the SquashTalk eStore!

This book is a totally interesting, soul-baring, and readable account of a summer of difficult hiking and self-discovery. We all know that squash players are a bit crazy! But John Illig in this account gives a totally unshielded view of his thoughts, foibles, weaknesses and strengths.

For those who don't understand why someone would hike several thousand miles through rain, snow and hardship, this explains it. For those who wonder how that would impact a new marriage, this is an exposition, if not an explanation.
