Simon Parke, who following a solitary and rigorous training routine in the summer of '04 to bring himself back to an elite level of squash, demonstrated the results of his efforts with an exclamation point in this match which in which he overwhelmed Peter Nicol in the last three games. Parke and Nicol have played some monumental matches, most notably the US Open semis in 1999 and the Superseries Finals in 2000 (both available from squashtalk). So it is definitely not a fluke that Parke could beat Nicol. He did it in style in this fascinating match demonstrating the power of experience and determination.
