Day 3-1: Palmer v Willstrop & Beachill v White $27.95

WILLSTROP VS PALMER: James Willstrop made another claim to greatness tonight when he not only beat David Palmer, he took him apart in three games. Willstrop was clinical in his dissection and breathtaking in his winning shots, played at a speed that defied belief. I had my nose a foot from the front wall and I saw sights I have never seen before. Willstrop screaming to the front wall and managing to perform the most perfect cross court drop into the nick.

WHITE vs BEACHILL: John White was only in third gear against Lee Beachill but it was still fast enough to win in four. He lost the first game quickly but forced the second to four deuces to win 10-9 in almost 19 minutes. He took a quick third game 9-2 and once more held off the Beachill challenge to win the fourth 10-8. But his efforts were not good enough to get him a final berth, so he will face Nicol in the third place playoff.

SCORELINES:

James Willstrop (Eng) bt David Palmer (Aus) 9-7, 9-5, 9-7 (27 mins)
John White (Sco) bt Lee Beachill (Eng) 5-9, 10-8, 9-2, 10-8 (55 mins)

All recorded from rear of the court in high fidelity; no narration but with voice of referee. The DvD in NTSC version will play on USA, far East and multi-function; multi-region players (including computers); if in Europe must request PAL format IF you DO NOT have above listed devices. (Allow one week extra for PAL).
